Well here is some news that might appeal and also add interest. Have spoke to Steve today and we were talking about the electronic diff controllers Gems have that make the electronic diff act like an active diff. The normal price for this system is £495 but if purchased with the group buy and an ECU then Steve can do these for £400 fully fitted and mapped for dry road, wet road, Icy road and also still give u four positions to lock the diff yourself. If This diff controller is bought without ECU but included in group buy then he can do the diff controller again fully mapped and installed for £450.

Now to me that sounds like a cracking deal

Anyone interested

Well if you got a Electronic diff with a thumb wheel you replace the thumb wheel with a seven position switch which then gives you three positions one for dry roads one for wet roads and one for Icy conditions this system automatically adjusts the amount of lock the diff gets whilst driving for instance when braking into the corner the diff will unlock so as to give u stability with braking and then gradually locks up when accelerating out of the corner to gain u traction. The three positions are programmed for different road conditions and also driving styles. The diff can also be programmed for when using low revs it is totally unlocked so when full lock steering the diff doesnt clunk. The rest of the four positions on the switch is set at certain diff lock percentage so maybe 0 percent 25percent 50percent and fully locked.

Some group N rally cars use this system and in certain opinions this is alot easier to use than constantly varying the thumb wheel position and diff lock

Yeah I did. Cheers. Not for me I don't think, it's probably useful on gravel though, and a nice toy
