Speedy spare
#1
Thought I'd just pass on what a joy it was recently, when I got a flat on the Scoob(!)
Instead of having to fit the crummy slow-speed space saver spare, I used one of the spare set of wheels that I have, sitting in the back garden. Despite these being on a 15" rim, the overall radius is pretty damn similar to the normal wheels, and the handling was hardly changed. It allowed me to blat around the place quite happily until I got my puncture repaired.
Would recommend this to anyone, and if anyone wants a v. cheap spare of this type, I've got 3 that I don't need...
