Never been stopped myself but about 4 or 5 cars in front of me were one day. This was on a large roundabout approaching the M27 around Portsmouth in the south.

Rectification order I believe..

Fix within so many days with a stamp from an MOT place to prove it is fixed..

A standard car could well fail and it is not really fair to fine and point someone when they have no idea.. I suspect if you stopped and were abusive and it was obvious you deliberately have removed cats and don't give a flying **** they could fine you..

All round the Sutton Carshalton area in the summer, got pulled over in the wife's Yaris, fortunately not the decatted scoob!

They were very pleasant though, told me if i failed in my 'other car' they would issue me with aomething requiring proof of emmissions pass within 7 days,

If anone has a sports catted pipe for sale .....
