Question

This was discussed months ago but I can't find the thread.

Am having a downpipe fitted in a week of two, is it worth lagging it before fitting? and if so, is it straight forward to do for a DIY incompetant?

I'm going for a SS downpipe very soon. As I have some exhaust wrap in the shed I'm going to use it. Doesnt cost much.

keeping the heat inside the pipe is good for all sorts of reasons, no-one has ever offered any downsides so before the pipe is fitted and its easily accessible why not ?

Pete wrapped mine before he fitted it. There are lots of advantages to doing so.
