urgh pass the bucket!!
Second one not too bad, lot of effort gone into making it individual, rather than trying to make it look like a XR3I trying to look like an RS trying to look like a Nova PoS.

LOL, expect to see more of this sort of thing as the older cars become cheaper and more attainable. People still see the Scoob as something as an icon, especially the Max Power crew, and as they become affordable, you will see more given the MP treatment.
Not my cup of tea, but if they like it then good on them. Happy I sold mine though

I don't think that the second car is as bad as the first but I am old enough to remember and own custom cars in the late 70's and early 80's some cars then could have been considered works of mobile art such was the work involved. It has been mooted that with Classics falling into the hands of Max Power and his mates that the bubble has burst and I for one agree(I had a classic before they were classics) originalty is good in my book. I have a mate who thinks that Scooby's with Rally graphics are sad ***** who think they are " Insert Rally Drivers name" and should get a life.
To each his own I say.
(I have a new flameproof suit standing by just in case)

The top pic, The car belongs to a Guy called Ray , Yes this is his pride and joy, And alot of hard work , Time & Money has gone into this car, He likes it, Can understand that it is not everyones choice, But hey is there really the need to slate it on a Public BBS??
BTW He is not a scooby netter, And the Ice install would put alot of other's to shame

Not usualy too keen on the bad boy bonnet thing, but that does actualy work well.
Just because hes not gone down the STI/ P1 route, theres no need to slate him.
Dont we all like to make our cars a bit different to the next persons?
IMHO

its a good point
i personaly can like a nice bodykitted car, but only if its done properly with good quality parts
what i hate is when people fit parts because other people have fitted the same parts, like a bunch of sheep following each other, fitting parts that they think look good, becuase other people have them, when in reality they look fooken awful (eg: lexus bloody lights )
i used to be a bodywork person, crafting spoilers and bumpers from other cars onto my own, striving for it to look "mine" and not the same as anybody elses, i did all the work myself, i was proud of the cars, looking back now tho they would get slated to death

Who defines taste? Taste is individual.
Maxpower scene; I love it. Jap scene; I love it.
No one has the right to pass judgement on other peoples ideas, concepts, styling or anything else.
Why put rally gaphics on a scooby? All scoobs from the factory are no way near the same as the rally car FACT! so those that do this must be trying to make the car something it's not, graphics are a modification, some people like them some people don't.
It comes down to lack of intelligence.
Fair play to all those who dare to be different. Why would anyone want to do the common thing?

Hi Dave_A,
Just had a look through your home page and I found a very old picture of my purple Scooby taken at Max Power back in 2000 ( Misc colours 2nd row down on the very left ) I forgot how bad it looked on gold rims but I did have some replacement chrome rims on order though If you would like an upto date photo email me and I will mail you a couple.
The Scooby with the 'graphics' front end looks mean, I think the Skyline bumper and bonnet without the scoop really suits the look of the Scooby, I don't like the graphics though, especially the red dots on the boot.
Colin.
