PPP

I recently traded in my MY00 GT for a MY2003 STI as you can imagine I'm very happy with the change.
What are the advantages/dissadvantages of getting it PPPīd.
I live in Sweden and there are not many STIīs and no PPP`s at all!

I only had mine without PPP for the first sub 4K miles, but firstly the sound secondly everything happens that bit quicker. On the downside fuel consumption, I get 150/170 miles from a full tank not sure how this compares with the non PPP but I can't believe it improved it!
Just the spring kit to go now

Big advantage is you keep your warranty and the car is some what faster. I have seen posts on here saying Mpg's can be better.
Disadvantage would be the cost, you could tune the car to same power for less but you could lose your warranty.

No PPP warranty on a Swedish Scoob, for UK cars only.
Take a look at an Ecutek remap from TSL/ScoobySport/BRD/Power Engineering etc etc.
Edit - And XtremeScoobies too

I believe because the PPP in the UK is supplied under the auspices of International Motors, the UK importer, who covers the warranty obligations.
Similarly the Prodrive branded performance upgrades available in the USA are warranted by Subaru USA.
In these circumstances it's not too hard to work out why the UK importer won't underwrite the warranty on a car bought/used in Sweden.
