If I choose to have my servicing down at a non-subaru main dealer (eg. Power Engineering etc) will this invalidate my warranty (car not 3 years old yet)?

If you read all the small print in the servce book, then "Yes" it will invalidate your warranty.

Thumbs up

IIRC any new car bought after October 2003 can be serviced at any garage as long as OEM parts are used and the service is done to the manufacturers standard. This is one part of the block excemption removal that should benefit all car users, but it is not being advertised very much, I wonder why? It should not invalidate your warranty either.

Bugger, mines a 2002 so I guess I'm locked in to the 'competitive' Subaru Main dealer pricing.
