555 blue paint for model kit
#1
This may not be the right forum, but hey ho.
Anyone know where you can get 555 blue (darker) paint for modelling (tamiya etc.). Not WR blue. Model kit is a 1994 Legacy rally car.
Cheers

Tamiya do a dark metallic for the repsol paint schemes, failling that you could always go to halfords and find the closest match

go to halfords and get the paint from their range, u should find a good match
i used to use their paints all the time, they covered well and easier to use then tamiya's stuff which i found was too runny and took twice as long to dry
HINT: use Halfords plastic primer prior to painting

Hey Hay,You didnt state what type of material the body is made from? If it's polycarb and you use celluloise paint on it ,it will look more like a model of John Merrick (Elephant man),Applies to most R.C.cars.But if its a standard model celly is ok.I use a paint called FASTCOLOR, a yanky water based. Try www.towerhobbies.com,eveything ya need there........goos luck.......Voo.
