Anyone tried fuel saver / ionizer ??

Has anyone out there tried one of these fuel saver things ( basically magnets) that you clip over your fuel line ?? I've run one on my Punto for a year and it does run better (smoother) plus when I recently serviced it (11,000 since last ) I was amazed at how clean the plugs were. can't say if MPG has increased as I fitted it when I got the car. I just wondered if anyone had tried one on an Impreza ? I'm thinking of putting one on my MY02 WRX can anyone tell me which pipe is actually the fuel line ???

I will have to find out what one I put on the punto can't remember the name it wasn't ecotek though, if you do a search on ebay for fuel saver or fuel ionizer there are various ones out there you don't need to spend £50 they are anything from £8
