Moving to Italy
#1
Hi Wall,
The Sti is not available in Italy, only the 218bhp regular turbo. I believe both STi's and Evo's can be brought in for rallying!
However it's probably a good thing that they don't sell them as Italy only has 95ron fuel despite being called Super over there. This means that with an Sti you'd be forever having to use octane boosters and probably be suffering from detonation otherwise.
Or you can be a model in France which about 2k cheaper at around £16UKP which is the same but comes without ABS or Airbags with a nice Nardi steering wheel instead!
Hope this helps,
Marino

After living in Australia for the past 9 years (since age 19) I am moving to Italy, Milan, to follow some investments.....and some of the best driving roads through the Alps mmmmmmmmm.
This of course means that my beloved WRX is for sale, and it also means that I'll be looking at buying a new one as soon as I get to Europe. The question is, are Stis available in Italy? Evo VIs ? Normal Turbos (I rather an STI or EVO VI) ?
Thanks for the info, I look forward to being your "neighbour" in a few months time.
