Bit of a SIAL I guess, as a post like this gets wheeled out every now and again. However here goes anyway...
After reading the "banned from Beford" posts and thinking about time I've spent on here, and the useful information and enjoyment I've got from it - can I just say a big THANKS to Simon and the team of moderators for keeping the board open and alive. If you manage to make any money out of it at all you deserve every penny!
I've run a small BBS myself for a few years now and I'm in awe of the work you do to keep a community this large and varied running with apparent ease, and with freedom of speech essentially intact.
Long may it continue!

I can't understand the attitude of some people on this board, it really pisses me off. Seems like as soon as some Moderators / others come on here there are people just waiting to have a pop.
I really can't understand how these people have the time to sit there reading threads from months ago and quoting, you said this you said that, and so on. I understand there is a little more to this than what is posted, but really aren't that interested in reading personnal pops
I read the Bedford thread and was well......Shocked..... I wanted to post on it, but thought why bother.
I think SN is well run and Mods / Si deserve a pat on the back, not loads of stroppy threads that are pointless. I'd just like to say that
