Seeing as I have to pay 4000 Euros (2800 quid) to get my MY00 engine fixed... it's almost tempting to get this:

... and pop the engine in my car .
You have to admit, it would be fun

Ill take 2 please.
I agree, would be a laugh.
What about a flat 12 that used to be in early 70's ferraris what a noise that would make with a magnex!

Looks very similar to the 3.0 lump in my wife's H6 3.0.
So Subaru haven't thrown away the designs of the SVX after all...
Just give a dealer your chassis no. and I'm sure they'll sell
you an H6 engine.
Anybody managed to remap this yet ?
My wife is complaining that 200 bhp isn't enough in a 1600kg tank.

Pavlo... out of interest, who's doing this? What are their results so far? Although it's too late for this time, I'm very interested in this sort of thing as I've long suspected that it (or the H6) would fit nicely in an Impreza... certainly the H6 has only a 60mm longer block than our flat fours.
Thanks

True... it's going to be a beast! How much of his plans has Pat written publically himself? He's written about the watercooler 8-pot AP brakes (either here or 22B), but has he given other details himself?

Aha... I suspected it might be Pat but I wasn't sure! Sometimes difficult to be sure . I'd love to try it...
Any links to this anywhere? Here or 22b.com?
Cheers

Trouble is I'm in Germany and it costs a bit to send an engine from the UK to here
Anyhow if I was going for an upgrade it would be to a 2.5l block or ideally the H6 3.0.
