Automatic 1995 Subaru Legacy Estate. T250 - Japanese Import

Electrical /Malfunction, happens always.
Q:
The shift park solenoid release works when voltage is applied so is ok, but when pressing brake which should release this, it does not. I can't find the fuses/relay for this.
I can't find the horn relay either. Now the brake lights don't work.
Any help would be appreciated.

if the brake lights dont work it could be the switch as i think the switch does both brake lights and the shift solenoid

Been a few years since I let my BG go, but the fuse boxes I remember were near the steering column and under the bonnet.

The one near the steering column I think was hidden by a small pull down tray/box.

Sorry, but I don't know the exact location of each one...

Best of luck with getting it sorted.

Thumbs up

Thanks for all your suggestions. Problem solved by accident - I tapped the relay (under the dash, mounted on the pull-away fuse sheild, with a small electrical screwdriver and and to my amazement - everthing sprang into life!
Cheers, Nigel.
