I have a 98 Terzo that unfortunatly I must sell.

The last week or so there has been a problem with the rev counter and general preformance.

If at 2500 revs I put my foot down, after a few seconds the rev counter will fly upto 3500 - 4000 revs but the preformance does not match the high revs.

it will then drop from 3500 - 4000 revs back down to about 3000.

I am going to have to have it fixed before I can sell and was wondering if anyone had any idea what the problem may be and how big a job to fix.

Sounds like your clutch is slipping. No big problem just replace it.
