Mainly after a good pasting leave the engine running to allow the oil to leave the turbo thus stopping it from turning into carbon within the turbo.

Let the car warm up gradually before giving it some welly. In other waords let the car temp gage reach half way before trying to ge the Turbo to kick in. That way it will last longer.

Can take upto 10 miles before the oil temps are up especial;ly in this weather. Drive the last mile off turbo (i.e. dont boot it) and give it a minute to cool down before switching off.
