Wahoo I got a letter from Shell this morning that made me chuckle
“Congratulations, as a member of shell pluspoints and a regular purchaser of Optimax (and they’re not wrong) you have been specially selected to be upgraded to the Shell Optimax Club”
I feel so special now
Basically you still get the 1 point / litre but you also get Optimax bonus on each litre of Optimax.
Shame its not a discount card tho, but atleast theyve made the rewards more exciting.
for 17,000 points I can go JCB racing!!!

Funny? they sent me a little pewter petrol pump - old style with the Shell crest on the top and Optimax logo engraved on the front - optimax wasn't even out in the 1960's!! ha ha - still, it looks very nice in its presentation velvet lined wooden box!
