Just been doin a search on the recommended oils for MY98......I am learnin u know!!!!!......always search before askin....
Anyway done that, just avin a bit of a whinge.
When the car was last serviced at 53k, they filled oil up with shell helix plus!!! Apparently this seems okay when runnin in the car but not at this mileage so havin read the search's i'm on my way this weekend to get some Mobil 1 15w50.....
Now my only likkle bitty question is!!!!
Havin only done 1k miles since the service, should i wait till approx 5k miles covered before replacing with the Mobil or do it ASAP? My mileage tends to be town drivin with the odd motorway/b road blast.
