I parked up outside the newsagent earlier today, and as I was getting out two young lads on their way to school walked past.
I reckon they must have been only about 10-11yrs old, and as they went past one asked...
"Is that a 10 second car?"
On the basis that I had no idea what he was talking about I replied
"Cant tell you mate, its top secret"
Cunningly avoided I thought!
"Well it looks like a 10 second car to me mister!" he responded
"Maybe it is, maybe it isn't" I said, before dissapearing into the shop!
10 seconds is a bit quick for a 1/4mile (and I'm not sure 10yr olds are into 1/4miles already!) and hellishly slow for 0-60, any ideas what he was talking about?

AFAIK If your 1/4 mile time slip starts with a 10 then you have a 10 second car, hence if you do a 10.99 then you are "in the 10's".
I hope to see some 10 second scoobs at Elvington

On a similar vein...
My 8 year old nephew was in Halfords a while ago with my Dad and he asked the Halfords fella if he sold NOS kits & turbo chargers.
LOL.

I only saw TFATF once, a long time ago. I don't even remember that Cage fellow being in it, let alone what the 10 seconds refer to.

Cage isnt in it, and i think they are referring to a 10sec 1/4 mile as when they race in the desert at Race Wars ! they race over a 1/4 mile.
I've seen it too many times. The second one looks midly better.
