The ECU is located in the passenger footwell. Unclip the carpet from the plastic moulding and floor, pull it back, then remove the cover plate.

The wire you want to splice into is terminated at connector B136 pin 21. This is the blue plug, and if you're looking at the "back" (i.e. wiring side), it's the third row down, third wire in from the right. Should be a white cable with either a black line or a silver stripe running along it.

YOUR A SAINT M8!!

This is definatly for a type r ver 5?

sorry... but sh8ing it to cut into the wrong wire!

can get cracking when i get home tonight again.

Also,, I want to put an inline fuse to the lighting and 12v supplies to the gauges, what is a good rating to use?

I have 1 wire suppling the light feed to oil temp/oil press/voltg
and a seperate 1 for the 12v feed.

thanks again

Don't worry about getting the wrong wire. You won't do any damage unless you cut the supply to the structural integrity field generator or the warp reactor. Get either of those and you'll be well f*cked - they'll see the explosion in Baghdad!

Fuse value? 1A maximum.
