There was another post about a car not starting in a Meadowhall car park. Towed it out and OK.

There must be a strong transmitter in the car park area, perhaps a phone mast or something.

COuld be some transmitter in the vicinity Mate. What sort of alarm is it? Standard UK fit Sigma?

Mine's a Clifford - sometimes park exactly where you say, but no probs so far.

Yeah its the subaru cat 1 alarm system,Just that in that carpark theres a hell of a lot of cctv and a mobile phone mast on the roof so was thinking something to do with this,

So do ya think maybe anti code jack thingy is kicking in,Alarm mis-led into thinking something is trying to grab the code!Or is the alarm just s***E!

Std fit UK Sigma -big problems, you need the screening kit fitting under warranty.

Failing that, type in PIN number without key in ignition, type PIN in a second time (car will be chirping to you at this point) and start car within 20 seconds and off you go!

OR try using the remote up under the offside wheel arch pointing towards the drivers footwell!
