Greetings
Took delivery of my new 03 sti on Saturday, very impressive!
I Had a Pioneer Sat Nav and DVD system put in - it's an AVIC 900 DVD. Does anyone happen to know if it is possible to turn the screen off? Basially I can turn the tuner off but not the sat nav and just wondering if basically it is always on when the engine is on, or is there a way to turn it off?
Also I had a phone cradle installed but the volume on the radio doesn't turn down when the phone rings. Is there a facility to do this ith the pioneer unit and it just wasn't installed properly? Would be good to know before I go back and ask the installer.

To kill the radio you need a mute wire installing which is not normally standard. I paid the extra £30 or so when my phone kit was installed so the radion now gets switched off and the phone uses the stero speaker rather than using an external thing.
