ok. i am looking at buying my first scooby and i have come across a
prodrive sti ( 95 ) import. the car needs to be regestered in the country yet so this gives me a couple of weeks to make sure it`s right..... ok the car has only done 25.000 klm which is i think about 15.000 miles which is backed up with a full service history, it`s in white and the car is totally immaculate in every way, the guy whos selling want £ 9500 for it,, so is it the right sort of money ??all answers would be very helpfull.....thanks

all i can see is a PRODRIVE sticker (that i could get for you )
a Tuned bySTi plate.
can't see any that say Prodrive on it.
STi are the tuning company in Japan that Tune the cars.
Prodrive are the equivilant for our UK cars over here.
Plus they do the Rally cars as well

£3K over the top
look at this site on the for sale pages, or, go to the town end garage site, they sell imports and for a lot less than that.
Sorry dont know the actual address or how to put a clicky thing on.
good luck.

Dodgy - as the others have said, £9.5K is an exceptionally high price for a car of that age. You'd need to be absolutely certain the mileage is genuine, and that it's as immaculate under the skin as it is on the surface to even think about risking it.
