I imported a new STi 7 last September, only problem I had was that some paperwork was delayed for a few weeks. But if your car is already here that won't be a problem.

When the car gets SVA's make sure they put the HID headlamps back in. They need to be swapped over with UK lights for the SVA (MOT's with them are ok, but not the SVA for some strange reason). Because they are worth a lot of money, some places keep them and leave UK lights in there. So make sure you get them back.

You will need to budget for an alarm and tracker. Don't buy the same as fitted to the UK cars. Most proffessional thieves will know by now where everything on a UK car is fitted and how it works. So by using different items, it would cause them extra problems.
Plus the UK alarm isn't the best anyway, there's better ones available.

Now just enjoy all that extra power and spec.
