Pain in the @rse b@stard scum of the earth useless money grabbing tw@ts.
IMHO
You pay good money to sell the car in the Trader, and 95% of the calls are from canvassers.
Do what I do....
Answer the phone and when they say who they are say 'Oh, you want my dad, I'll just go get him for you...' You then take bets as to how long they'll wait before hanging up. I've had one young sounding chap last for 18 minutes.

Stay well clear of all of them, it's a con. Do a search and you'll see what i mean. I dealt with two of them a few years ago, never again.
When they call politely tell them to f**k off.

I tell them that I will pay them upon the successful sale to one of their supplied eager customers, when they umm and arrr - I just repeat the statement from them that they are VERY surprised its still for sale!
Then their tack is, we need payment up front - I say I will pay a premium of 50% MORE upon sale! this is a legally binding contract as they are recording the conversation.
I LOVE playing with them - then I express my concern that they don't trust me to pay after the sale and say I can't work under a position of no trust!
Gets them everytime!! try it its great fun!
