Airbag light on
#1
Hi All
I went to change the steering wheel on my sisters scoob the other day to a Nardi without an airbag. I took the old wheel off though and noticed that you need a different ring for the horn so I had to put the wheel back on.
Now the airbag light is on I have tried an ECU reset but that did **** all
How are you supposed to fix this after removing the wheel?
Thanks in advance
Paul

Take the bulb out!
Seriously though, I did this on an old car and when I traded it in, the light was on, and I believe the garage had to run some sort of diagnostic on it to tell the ECU that the circuit was in fact complete and put the light off.

Great minds think alike I was going to do this but couldn't get the dash out so I took the clear cover off and put a bit of black insulating tape over it instead You can't even see the tape unless you look but I wanted to know if you could do it properly.
Thanks
p.s <note to self> never buy one of talizman's old cars </note to self>
