Red face

E30 M3s are prone to accelerator cable failure, particularly after a spirited take off. This IMHO is what you witnessed......

Wink

Very unhappy chappie lives round the corner from me -
he bought a rather expensive M3 and thought he could outrun everyone and everything until he came against me - the only match was the colour, pi55ed all over it !!

I agree - the scoob "phenomenon" for me goes from pissed off cos it's not as well built with as many extra's as my last car (Audi A6 2.5 TDi 180 Quattro Sport Tip)and cost more to run, noisier etc to boyish grin all over my face and chuffed to bits with it. This latter emotion is usually after a burn on a "B" road or when some youths give you the admiring thumbs up as you drive past. I get this most days and yesterday a bloke in his late fifties and his wife came up to me admiring the car (Silver 03 WRX PPP with re sprayed STi 8 wheels).

Every car's a compromise!
