hi there peeps,
testing the water here to see what interest there is.

there shall be TWO main groups:- those who want the ecu without being fitted/mapped (purchase only-disclaimer form to be signed) and those who wish to have to ecu fitted and mapped by B.R. DEVELOPMENTS. if you wish to have the ecu fited and mapped, then you must be patient and understanding, that B.R. DEVELOPMENTS already have "booked in advance" customers, who they also have to deal with, therefore time is a factor.

we need at least TEN people to get the ball rolling. prices will released when we are close to this figure.

i will start TWO lists and if you could put your names under one or the other, whichever is required, we shall see how successful it will be.

LIST 1
ECU+FITTED/REMAP
----------------

LIST 2
ECU+CONTROLLER
---------------

I'd be interested, obviously depending on price and the ability to pay by credit card.

I'd just want to purchase the ECU at this stage, fitting and mapping not required until I've bought/fitted a few other mods.

it is for the link ecu, yes. but not the link plus. have been informed the "plus" is a bit too much work and new for the group buy.

c'mon peeps should be a good price if we get the numbers

Have at look at BRD's website for some more info. I think there's also some more stuff on the MRT website, but I'll have a look and see if I can find a link.

BRD

MRT

(edited to add the MRT link)

Cool

ok peeps

have spoken to branko in regards to the link plus ecu which comes with anti lag. he WILL NOT fit and remap it to suit your car...hwever he will sell it to you if you so desire. the thing with this ecu is, it doesn't come with the connector to plug straight into your car. therefore it has a "universal" fitment if you would like to call it that. he will also take a discount off of this unit, again if we get the interest. a disclaimer form will ALSO have to be signed if this ecu is what you want. this is because anti-lag is in fact illegal and B.R. DEVELOPMENTS wish to be, in no way, tied to something like this. i'm sure you will all understand this.

i will now make the list into three! these are as follows...

LIST 1
ECU+FITTED/REMAP
----------------

LIST 2
ECU+CONTROLLER
---------------

1.Goldeneye
2.Judge

LIST 3
PLUS ECU
--------------

If i remeber correctly anti-lag is a software revision on the std link (reads chip upgrade & therefore costs £). It is however as Bob has highlighted illegal. On top of that if the revised chip is fitted then the facility to use the PCLink software is no longer available. So the choice is antilag w/o serial I/O lines or I/O lines for use with the PCLink software and no antilag

Unsure if that has changed at all, but that was the case when I last investigated a software upgrade.

Ok, prices are as follows:-

For the link ecu with fitting and mapping...£785.53+VAT
(97-98 and 99-2000 models, a three port boost solenoid is needed at £140 inc. VAT. 92-96 models do not need this.)

For the link ecu with controller(not fitted or mapped)...£639.57+VAT (97-98 and 99-2000 models, a three port boost solenoid is needed at £140 inc. VAT. 92-96 models do not need this.)

all parts and accessories that are needed for fitment of boost solenoid come with it.

And for the link plus ecu...£895includingVAT

And I'd like to add that none of these ecu's will fit a bugeye or blobeye and the ecu's for these model years are NOT in the group buy!!!
