when you mean fastest...do you mean top speed or aceleration? Scoob doesn't have the most impressive top speed out there (not that I find that a problem )

Plod used to use Jag XJ12's - the last ones were good for 155mph (limited) obviously 0-60 was a bit off (7.5sec)

I used to be a ba***rd traffic cop, but saw the light and am now just ordinary plod. When I was working on the motorway a few years ago we had a Saab 9000 turbo. I had 162mph out of it trying to catch a stolen porsche 911 one night and nearly sh*t myself when the wind turbulance caused the rear wiper blade to flip over. Never did catch the porsche!!

P.S. Just to let you all know that most, if not all coppers, do care about catching the people who nick our cars, coz it's a great buzz when you do. Getting caught speeding is very annoying - i know coz I got caught by an unmarked van with a laser recently - but if you risk breaking the law you risk getting caught! "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime" So stop whinging!!!!

The picture of the M3 is fine , but surely that light cluster on the roof would:

1: Slow it down
2: Cause stability problems at anything over 50mph
3: Create so much noise that the coppers inside wouldn't be able to hold a conversation
4: Its about as discrete as a tart in a monastry

So, can we take it from these remarks, that traffic cops aren't too hot at catching car thieves but quite proficient at catching speeding motorists?

Yep, thats traffic cop attitude for you!
