Recaro Child Seat
#2
Very good design and my son finds it comfortable on long journeys - he can also see out of the car well.
Only downside is that he pulls the belt off his shoulder and puts it under his arm and can undo the belt easily too. This was a problem until he understood it was dangerous i.e between 18 months and 2yrs old!
Cheers

Hi Mark
How's it going mate?
Not used the Recaro but can recommend the 'Concord Lift Pro'
Details here....

A bit cheaper and I believe it came out slightly better in crash tests than the recaro. Also the fabric matches interior well. Got mine from mothercare.
Hope that helps

I have been using the Recaro - really well made but I would suggest you get the comfort pack if your nipper is under 2 years old. This provides extra padding and is more comfortable for them. All of the covers come off and can be washed as well!

I thought the Recaro looked dangerous for very small children 1-2yrs since it only uses the adult seat belt to secure the child. They can easily escape and/or the belt cuts into their neck. Far better to get a seat with a proper 5 point harness for when they are younger and then a cheap booster seat for when they get bigger >4yrs.
I bought a Britax Isofix Duo from Halfords for £120. The Isofix is superb and will fit your MY01 no problems. The seat is easy to fix, very secure and no need to mess around with seatbelts to secure the seat.
