I've done exactly the above. Definately the way forward.

If you scout the for sale forum you could get it all for less than a grand!

Thumbs up

Not rolling roaded it, but can tell you that people with same set up as me get around 260-280. The guy I bought the Tek 2 off got 281 on the rolling road - I have the print out!

I've also done 1 or 2 other 'tweaks'

Drives like a dream - very very responsive. Pulls like a train to the red line in each gear. After 2 years of ownership the car is at a level I always expected it to be (1st drive was an STi).

It's pretty much import fast, and many people have done the straight line comparison...as RR figures are not exactly spot on.

ahh cool, so whats this remap involve does it mean the cars running more boost.

id be looking for import fast on a uk, as imports well are as hard to insure as pretty much anything!

also the scoob i drove didn't sound like a turbo, would sticking on a IK allow me to hear the turbo spooling up as i love that noise

Ok What if the subaru already comes with PPP what then?

Assuming its pushing out maybe 240bhp.....surely it wouldnt be as expensive as say a standard turbo to get to 280bhp???
