Going to look at a few tommorow at a trade centre,now apparently they have a couple of 280bhp ones,what models are they likely to be and what is the low powered one how do i tell???

Any info greatly appreciated.

280 will be either P1 or 22B if Uk - other than that, they will be import
Take someone who knows their stuff

They are imports mate,what does that mean then regards power?Are they higher than UK cars.I think there 93/94/95 cars i am viewing.

I am a Cossie pro DIYer i make my own decisions Just need as much info as i can arm myself with.

If they are that age they are likely to be 240bhp if imports but look at the SIDC FAQ as it gives you model codes ie GF8... and you can see what power/model it is. Print it off and take it with you, its very helpful. A quick id to whether the cars an import is:

1) Folding mirrors? Prob import
2) Aircon? Could be either!
3) Nardi steering wheel? Prob import
4) If it has headlight washers in the bumper likely to be a UK car


UK cars of the same age I believe would be 215bhp or was it 211?

Personally I've had an import everytime!
