Facelift in 97/98?

Another newbie question! lol
Ive been looking at 97 & 98 cars and been told there was a facelift? When was this done, and anyone got any pics of what was changed (ie before and after?)

There was an external facelift at MY97 and again at MY99.
Internally there was a major change at MY98
96-97 changes were:
bigger intercooler
smaller front entry turbo
lower friction pistons
higher compression ratio
new bonnet, lights and grille
slightly better brake callipers up front (still 2pots though)
thicker rear anti roll bar
new heater controls
same peak power but more torque and genearted lower down the rev range
different ECU
better seats
revised ignition system
97-98 changes
totally new dash taken from the Forester with white dials etc.
passenger airbag and revised door panels, centre console etc etc.
engine wise it's the same as the 97
Think that's most of it.

Is that the one with the white dials etc? Did that interior come as standard as it looks well smart

Will - NO, thats the black dials - interior changed in 98....

97 onwards came with the silver on black seats.

The seats came in at the 97 model year (October 96->
Dials and dash are 98 my (October 97->

its a boost guage, cool innit, scooby_si had it fitted, then i brought the car of him and i wouldn't let him take it out.
