6 months ago i had a rebuild on my MY99 6 months ago when the turbo, crank, no 3 piston and con rod went. Costin 3.5k. It has now gone again and it is at scooby clinic now. The scary thing is they have said it is the worst rebuild they have ever seen and they are suprised it lasted as long as it did.

Turbo has gone again, said a new turbo was going on and they havent
no 3 con rod again, no 2 was replaced last time for some reason
crank again
the washers with rubber inserts in which provide a seal were put in wrong and old ones used
the cam caps were put in wrongSo bascially a real cowboy job.
and they have ripped me off on the parts by charging me 3 times too much for some bits

Thing is they are a warranty company for a garage which sell alot of scoobys, skylines evos etc and they say they rebuild one scooby every week

So Trading standards will be informed and we will see what happens
