Just renewing my Insurance Policy (dont ask - I am wound up enough)
Anyway - just had 2 identical converstaions with different insurers re parts availability for the 3 door WRX.
Apparantly the 3 door premiums are loaded by up to 20% because of difficulty in getting parts (especially body panels/glass thats different from the more common 4 door)
I mentioned the fact that the P1 is a 3 door & was told that parts availability would still be a huge problem, with P1's off the road for ages.....
Anyone know if this is true or if Subaru have spares for the P1 on the shelf in preparation ?
I guess we will have to wait for a P1 to be damaged to find out.

I'm afraid not fella, As with the 22b type uk parts are avalable instantly for P1 owners, as in they have all the bits in stock. The problem for you and your insurace co is that they are only avalable to P1 owners,

What - those flared arch wings are available off the shelf in the UK...!!!
I heard that they get made at 3 different factories.....wouldn't like to imagine what a 22b wing costs then.
But I guess if you can afford the car.....:-)

22B parts were artificially price loaded to stop people buying them for their 1.6 Impreza, and making a sow's ear out of a pile of poo....

All exterior 22B parts are MEGA BUCKS......
