Clifford Electronics, Inc. Announces Agreement to Sell Assets to Directed Electronics, Inc.
Clifford Electronics announced it has agreed to sell certain assets to Directed Electronics, Inc., manufacturer of the popular Viper auto security products. The transaction is expected to close within forty-five days. The combination of the two leading vehicle security firms will provide customers with unmatched product offerings, customer service and technical support.
According to William Franklin, president of Clifford Electronics, "The announced transaction with Directed Electronics is designed to strengthen our marketplace position both domestically and abroad. From our customers' standpoint, they can expect to receive the same high levels of quality and service going forward. The two firms have long been at the forefront of the industry's technological advances and our combined research and development teams will be hard at work developing the next generation vehicle security systems."
