Hair dryer, some dental floss and Autoglym Tar remover

Warm the area up carefully and then use the floss to pull the badges off. then use the tar remover to clean the paint work off

or some hot water instead of hair dryer. the wet effect might be better for protecting the paint when you do it. That's how I did mine. Boil the kettle, leave for a minute and pour a bit over the badge, then credit card or floss. Polish up and job done!

I used semi-boiling water to get mine off. It left a load of gunk behind which i spent ages scraping off with my thumb nail.
