Want to buy a MOMO gear knob
#3
Hi,
Halfords sell a good range on Momo gearknobs and steering wheels. I think they're cheaper than DemonTweaks as well. If you're local shop doesn't have it in stock, they can always order them. Definately worth the money if your current one is looking a bit scraggy

I'm confused.
How does changing the bit you hold at the end make the shifting much shorter?
Im sure there's an answer to this?
This is not a sarcastic reply, mearly a question.

The gear **** on my WRX sat quite high on the gear shaft! The MOMO is shorter and sits much lower on the shaft(steady!).
If you think how leverage leverage works! The shorter the shaft - less distance traveled! e.g. Quicker change!
Hope this helps.
James
P.S. of course it all depends on your previous gear ****

I have the all leather momo ****, from Halfords. I like it better than the standard one, seams better to get hold of somehow. It also adds a bit more style to the cabin. The screws keep working loose though. I was advised not to get the all metal one, as this gets very hot in the sun.
