is the clutch on a MY93WRX the same as the UK version? Mine is starting to slip now and then, especially after sitting in a traffic jam.

excellent! and how much would i be looking at to get it changed? so i dont get totally raped over it!

You want to check out places like www.scoobymania.co.uk and the likes who do aftermarket clutches (AP and Helix) which are around the same cost as the standard item but considerably better quality.

i used a bluprint the last time i got it changed, around £150.

i have got a AP RACING one to go in as i expected the blueprint to give up running the power and torque i am now, but its still going strong!

around £150 to change it would be fair

kewl, would a company like Mr Clutch be any good for the job?? or should i avoid them like the plague?

Isn't there a new moddified clutch out from Subaru to get over the cold judder problem?

£150!! I keep getting quoted upwards of 700!!! Where was that?

The OEM Subaru clutch would have been £720 to be fitted by my very reasonably priced Subaru dealer to my 99MY. As the engine was out anyway under warranty they let me off the labour cost so it was £300 for the parts.

Don't delay speak to API in Leamington......

Been right down this route and they are by far the best priced bar None........Mine is there this week.

AP Organic, STi release etc etc etc..... just a smidge over £500.00 + VAT fitted.

Only extra is £30 for a fly wheel skim if needed.

I will be needing a new clutch soon and www.autospares-group.com do a borg & beck clutch kit (3 part) for £75.42 +VAT, they are brand new not referb and I have had a fitting price of £150 from a local garage. £230ish for a clutch fitted, not bad really.

a lot of you are getting ripped, £700 and £400 efffin quid!!!

a mate of mine will fit my clutch for £60, its who you know i suppose!

lol, dealers round here used to charge between for £750 and £1200 for the clutch/flywheel and to fit it!
