Question

For all those with PPP Imprezas - does it actually make reference to the PPP (or exhaust mods or whatever) on your insurance documents (obviously assuming you've informed them) ? I have informed mine and twice confirmed it is mentioned in the 'notes' on their system, but no mention in my paperwork......?

Cheers,

Wilster.

Mods, please give me a few hours grace through lunchtime!

I sent them a copy of my PPP certificate by recorded delivery and asked for a receipt

Cheers guys, I'm with Liverpool Victoria...phoning them...again!....

Spoke to them 10mins ago and they said don't worry about it - won't be a problem - but i'm not convinced.

OK - they've sorted it on the second time of asking and will be sending out a revised schedule which will mention the PPP. They needed to check with a supervisor though.

mmmm - good tip. I'm with Norwich Direct. Informed them/no charge
but wouldn't mind it in writing!

Wink

I phoned L&V 3 times over PPP and they always said it's OK, no extra charge. But like you I wanted it on paperwork so they classed it as ECU & Exhaust mods and charge me £16.80p but I'm a lot happier with it on Documents

SNAP - with LV PPP was no charge until we discussed what the mod was. I wanted it in writing on the schedule, shows as engine and exhaust mod - cost £16'ish

Cool, well there was no extra charge for the paperwork. I've just picked up the new car (literally 10mins ago ), MY02 (March) PPP Quickshift. I went from a MY99 4dr totally standard, and the increase in cost was £338, quoted prior to talking about PPP. The increase was 'purely' related to the value of the car.

Cheers,

Wilster
