hi all , i'm having some panels sprayed on my93wrx and need to know if you can remove the trim that runs down each side of the roof and along the sides of the front and rear screens. this would save masking them up. advice would be great being as the work is being done tomorrow. thanks.

hi mate, yes you can they pull off,(upwards)do it carefuly though the clips that hold it on are only plastic and can break, altough they are not expensive to replace, the trim pushes onto the grey clip,if the grey clip comes off with the trim, separate the two once off the car its easier to slide to the end,but replace the grey clip back on the roof,(it slides onto the small pips)before putting the black strip back on,try and line the ends up before clicking back into place, dont loose you bits on the ends, they are separate,it is also the same on the windscreen trim font and rear but these are held on with yellow clips, take care with these trims though as they are alot thinner then the roof ones and can bend if you are not careful
hope this helps
cheers
