Banzai - Powerstation Tuned Sccoby & Aussie WRX
#1
Just bought the new Banzai. They have a several Scooby articles including an Aussie WRX with loads of mods, big power and std brakes !!
Also a Power Station tuned UK Scooby.
Std figure they state as 207bhp and 180lbft. (claim it was rich on fueling, but they all are, of the 75 odd cars Ive seen on the Rollers).
They then add a Unichip, Blitz (1 bhp increase) and a DTM style!! backbox. This lot adds up to 230bhp & 220 ish lbft.

Unichip AND Blitz/Backbox only gets a UK car to 230bhp?
That's interesting..
Makes my 228bhp at PS on a hot day with std ECU look much better!
Torque figures there seem a bit low though, 180lb/ft can't be right, and I only got 214lb/ft as well.
Reasons?
Stef.

Seems your 98 is better than a PS tuned car.
The graph does show 180lbft for the std car. But I'm informed that this is a VERY accurate Rolling Road. The owner should have taken the car straight back to Subaru UK for a new engine

Regarding that Aussie tuned WRX, how big must their ***** be to run a 350+BHP machine on the original sliding calipers-they were apalling even with standard power!
The roads must be very, very long and straight in Oz.

Ok Martin, you'de better go and get the latest edition whilst it's still in the shops then. It's the one with a silver evo VI on the cover and the article this thread is about.
