Having problems arming/disarming sigmaM30 on my2000 due to radio masts. My dealer said there is an upgrade to sort this but said they're having problems getting the ecu from sigma.
Anyone else experiencing this.

Have a look under the Security section my friend - we all suffer this problem (I know I am suffering at the moment)!!!Apparently, Sigma have always been like this, hence the keypad.

Red face

Wouldn't mind if it happend once in a while, but I have difficulties trying to lock and unlock it outside my own house

Must look a right idiot sometimes wandering round it trying to find the sweet spot to unlock it! Even more so if I have to set the alarm off and use the key pad.

Can see a few cell phone masts from my place so I guess that is the problem.

There is a sheided ECU available under warranty which should fix the problem.
Another trick (I kid you not) is to stick the fob under your chin to focus the waves.

The local Subaru dealership took 2-3 weeks to get the shielded ecu in. No unlocking problems since it was installed. Free under warranty.
