Question

right im being a pain today but!... ive just noticed that the front of the exhaust (would this be the down pipe etc?) is stainless steel the back back (ppp) is stainless steel but the theres a small section that isnt? Is this all standard ppp?

IIRC the PPP on MY99 etc didn't change the downpipe only the BB.
Sounds as if the front pipe has been changed, the middle is standard and the BB is the Prodrive extra.

doesn't sound like it to me. I thought the PPP kept the original DP but changed the centre and backbox.

Yes,the ppp changes the centre aswell but not the downpipe.

Sounds like you could have an aftermarket dp. Unless you been polishing that too, lol.
