Hi Guys,

Just got myself some 4-pots (thanks Steve!) and now I'm after some braided hoses for the "finishing touch"

Can anyone advise me the cheapest place to get them from?...

Cheers,
Matt.

How long have you had the car ;-) ? Obi-wan has taught you well !

I got mine from Power Engineering for about £60, but that was a couple of years ago. You might also try Scoobyparts and ScoobyWorld, I think they do them too, but dunno how much.

If you need pads/discs, try ScoobyMania, I got the best prices from them for Black Diamond and Mintex.

Don't forget the DOT5.1 fluid as well.

You should save some money in laundry bills once you get 'em sorted.

Best of luck mate,

Tony

Thanks Tony, I'm trying to be sensible, so far I forked out on a service, a Green Filter replacement panel and now a set of 4-pots, ferrado disks and pads, after that it's gonna be a decat downpipe and I'm going to stop there! (he says....)

Got some braided lines on order!...

The bug... nah... just some sensible mods - brake's are pretty important, and you may as well get the most out of ya engine, so the decat downpipe is a must, plus I've found one for £110 - not bad!...

I went through all this moding for years with MK2 Golfs and threw away thousands, never again (he says!) - so I'm stopping at the downpipe... ...stay away from the darkside... stay away....
