**Which is the quickest P1 or STi PPP?**

I know this is a real boy racer question but which is the quickest in a straight line...

I know that the P1 is lighter, and has shorter gearing than a STI PPP, but the STI has more power...Most P1's push out about 285 BHP and I assume STI PPP around 300-305 BHP so which would be quicker down Heathrow Runway?

I worked out once that a UK car pre 00 needed 265bhp to have the same power to weight ratio as a WRX STi with PPP, so as a P1 has about another 20bhp Id say would be quicker.

On a private road(???),was backing off a P1 to stay behind on purpose,at about 140mph,in a 325hp STI7.

my non WR RB5 running 255bhp sat with and pulled on sti 7 PPP

so i'm sure P1 would have no probs.

think its all to do with power - weight ratio
