What sort of price should I be looking to pay for N reg 30,000 mile WRX STI Type RA. It's pretty standard other than a Roll cage and looks in pretty good nick (Can't you tell I know bugger all about car mechanics).

Private then yea about £7000 to £7500 But no come backs
Though a dealer then £8500 to £9000 You should be Getting a Full 12 Month Warranty and all the rest at that Price.
Very good Miles for that year

Oops... It's a P Reg 96. Just been and had a look.
It's got the Red Top engine (Whatever that does?) V light boot and bonnett. It's only just been imported.
Dealers got it up for 9,995. They've put through the SVA and done the ECU, serviced it and put a 12 month waranty on it.
Is 10K about right?

Just be aware that the car on Slowboy link is a WRX not a WRX STi, so it's a completely different model from the one you are looking at at the dealers.
If you are not sure of the differences then have a look at teh Model guide on the SIDC website.

Had a look at the specs on the POC car. Sounds pretty good but the thing that sells the STI Type RA is the center diff (DCCD I think) Like the idea of putting more power through the rears in the dry for track days and the like.
