now that the colder weather is approaching, i was looking forward to getting the scoob onto some white stuff.. and was wondering what the capabilitys of the hi low ratios on the awd system were/are what is the max speed i can use when in the lower ratio and is there a max time or rev limit i must not exceed..
is the lower ratio just a split in the bias/ drive applied to the wheels, or is it a lower ratio applied all round..
any help would be appreciated

When I had a Sport (5 cars and 5 years ago!) I'm sure the speeds in gear were listed in the back of the owners handbook ?
I did try it a few times - very helpful for extra engine braking going downhill in the snow - or ice when your ABS brakes will be absolutely and utterly useless! For maximum fun, buy some winter/ allseasons/ mud&snow tyres and search out the snow
