Just been quoted £355+vat for parts and labour from main dealer for 45,000 mile cam-belt service on my MY99.

Does that sound right?

Had mine done at the weekend without the belt (been done already)and it was just over £200 , of which only £40 odd was parts the rest was labour and VAT !!
So your price sounds about right (I think the belt is about £150ish)

got my 60k service due soon and if it needs the cambelt then its going to be £420+vat.

 

They tell me the belt is £105+vat. Labour £49+vat per hour.
