Failing that, simply stop hanging around with Saxo and Nova drivers...

All standard UK turbos should be doing 60 in 5-6 secs, and 100 in 14 ish (I think) - quicker than all but the most seriously modded Novas/Saxos, which will probably have had twice as much spent on them than a UK turbo anyway (and still be worth half the value of a UK turbo).
So you don't even need a modded UK turbo - a standard wagon will **** all over the cars you are talking about, every day of the week.

The question was what is the fastest UK in the country. It seems to have been answered How much its been modified is not relevant to the question. Should we just rule Harvey out of Import comparisons because he's got too much power and would win ?

there all great imo
but my 1st ,recently bought scoob is an my96 uk wagon...90k on it
it cost under well under 6k ..i've scooobyecu'd it (should be running 270+bhp unconfirmed as yet.(was r/roaded at 233 before chipping))
re the wagons..ugly yes..but it ran 13.84 at elvington scooby shoot-out,with a near full tank of gas and no octain booster(left at home-muppet) and my first time also
but it also hit 151.9mph on standing 1.25mile run
BUT even better..took it to on a booze run last week(to france)-filled to the gills with stella and spirits for xmas....still she pulled like a train...(the car that s!)
yep.the wagons are amazingly usefull bit of kit imo..
ps re elvington drag racing...bit disapointed.
got there in my mrs heels and slinky black dress..lippy,the works...and had any another bugger bothered to get dressed up...NO
...why not make the naming of the event more clear??
