We have just got a Impreza WRX RA Limited and its a April 1999 and it's not STi Engine or anything. I thought they would of been STi on that Year.

Yea i know you can get a early RA that aint STi but what about a late one 1999.

yeh u can get a 1999 wrx type ra (non sti), i have one...well i will have when the asian parade comes into liverpool docks nov 17th

mines a limited '555' or something...which i think means it has nice blue seats lol!

I'll raise you a year I have a non-sti MY00 WRX Type RA WRC Limited (only 1000 made) also with blue swrt seats and a 280ps engine with a 7,500rpm redline

A wrx ra 1999 does exist and will have a model code of GC8F47D (found on the silver VIN plate which is located passenger side under the bonnet next to the of top of suspension)

A wrx sti ra 1999 had a model code of GC8F4DD

A lot of people think that the R or RA is only an STI thing.

You aint the first and you wont be the last to make that mistake. Its all about cheaper lookalikes.

I think the point Jap was making originally was that he thought it would have been an Sti for the age not that they didnt make them as WRX's as RA's. Thats how i read it anyway

Yea tried that but he said I got to learn to do it the hard way so i dont loose intrest in selling mine, which is a good thing i spose.
